1862

  • February 25: Jesse W. H. Baldwin enlists in the United States Army in Kingston, Tennessee
  • March 28: Jesse musters in to the 5th Tennessee at Barbersville, Kentucky.

1865

  • January: Jesse is appointed Post Postmaster of his regiment.

1867

  • December 7: Lucinda Baldwin files for a U.S. widows pension through the Federal Government.
