  • The United States Federal Census taken on June 7th in Pulaski County, Kentucky shows Sampson, a farmer, and Tempa living with their children: Mary A., age 3 and Nancy, 1.

1890

  • June: Sampson is listed on the Veterans Schedules for the United States. He is living in Dallas, Pulaski County, Kentucky.

1903

  • June 1: William D. Whitis (grandson) files for a Military pension as a minor dependent of Sampson Hawk.
