Blue & Gray Days
Thursday through Saturday – November 8-10, 2018
Blue & Gray Days draws hundreds of school children and adult spectators every year. At both Carter House and Carnton, guests will meet Civil War re-enactors and get hands-on experience with clothes, trades, and weapons of the past. This living history experience is the perfect field trip and great for families.
This year includes in the living historians and re-enactors are Pres. Abraham Lincoln, Gen. U.S. Grant, Confederate and Federal Soldiers, 19th-century cricket players, and living historians performing tasks from every day life in the 1800s.

House tours on the mornings of Thursday, Nov. 8th and Friday, Nov. 9th are reserved for school groups. If you are a teacher looking to book a school group or a homeschool parent looking to come to the event, pre-booked tour times are required. Students 6th – 8th grade: $6.00

General Admission for Blue & Gray Days is included with the purchase of a Classic House Tour. A grounds pass only may be purchased for $10.00.
