Group Tours at Carter House & Carnton
We look forward to your group visiting Carter House, Carnton, or both!
Reservations for group tours must be made at least 2 days in advance and are required for groups of 10 or more in order to receive the group rate. The group rate is $12 per person, per site for the Classic House Tour. There is no group rate for specialty tours. Tour leader and bus drivers are free.
Please note: Reserved groups are not private tours. Optional private tours are available.

The length of the Classic House Tour is 60 minutes. Please allow ample time to visit the grounds and gardens which are all self-guided (recommended time is 30 minutes). Bus and coach drop-off/pick-up, parking and turn-around are available at both sites.
Payment must be made in advance or on the day of the tour. Tours paid in advance are not refundable. We accept all major credit cards and checks. One payment combining both site admissions is acceptable if your group is visiting both Carter House and Carnton.
Boxed Lunch Add-on
We have partnered with the local delis in Downtown Franklin to offer the convenience of pre-ordered boxed lunches that are delivered to your group at Carter House or Carnton. Limited picnic table space is available at both sites, so you may wish to bring blankets. At Carnton, you may choose to rent gallery space for your group.

Limited picnic table space is available outdoors at both sites, so you may wish to bring blankets.
At Carnton, you may choose to rent the Gallery for an additional $5/person, per hour, for indoor seating up to 80 people. This includes tables, chairs, and plastic tablecloths. Floor length cloth tablecloths are available to rent for $15 each.
Carnton gallery rentals are only available when they do not conflict with other events.
Orders must be submitted and payment received at least 10 days in advance of your group tour.
