1862

  • February 25: Jesse W. H. Baldwin enlists in the U.S. Army in Kingston, TN.
  • March 28: Jesse mustered into the 5th TN Infantry at Barbersville, Kentucky.

  • November 30: Jesse fought in the Battle of Franklin.

1865

  • January: Jesse was appointed Post Postmaster of his regiment.

  • April 4: Jesse was mustered out of the U.S. Army.

1867

  • August 17: Jesse Baldwin died.

1869

  • December 7: Lucinda Baldwin filed for a U.S. widows pension through the Federal Government.
