About the Tour
This tour examines one of America's largest paradoxes: a nation where "all men are created equal," but millions were denied basic freedom. Learn about the men, women, and children who were enslaved at Carter House or Carnton, and how emancipation changed their lives.
Tours may be booked outside of the scheduled times between Monday and Thursday, based on availability. Contact Savannah Weaver at (615) 905-0687 or firstname.lastname@example.org for questions, to book a tour, or to book a group of 10 or more. Special rates available for military groups of 10 or more - please call for details.
