Community Talks

Several times each year, Battle of Franklin Trust staff and/or guest speakers present in-depth explorations of topics related to American history in our Community Talks series.

Past lectures and panel discussions have ranged from stories of specific individuals, to Civil War Medicine practices and myths, to conversations about the Civil War and its legacy.

If there is a specific subject you would like to hear covered, or a conversation in which you wish to participate, we want to hear from you! Submit your suggestions to info@boft.org

Community Talks take place in the Fleming Center at Historic Carnton at 6:00p.m. These talks are free and open to the public, however reservations are required due to limited seating. Contact joseph@boft.org or (615) 794-0903.
