Directions to Carter House from I-65:

Exit #65. Drive west on Highway 96/Murfreesboro Road for 2.3 miles and turn left onto Church Street. Continue straight at the next two stop signs and turn left at the first light onto Columbia Avenue. Turn right onto West Fowlkes Street. The entrance to the parking lot will be on your left.

Directions to Carter House from Carnton:

Continue on Eastern Flank Circle from the parking lot until you reach Lewisburg Pike. Turn left onto Lewisburg and drive 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Stewart Street (the first street after the railroad tracks). Continue straight at the first stop sign and turn right at the first light onto Columbia Avenue. Turn left at the first light onto West Fowlkes Street. The entrance to the parking lot will be on your left.

Directions to Carnton from I-65:

Exit #65. Drive west on Highway 96/Murfreesboro Road for 1.1 miles and turn left onto Mack Hatcher Parkway. Travel 1.4 miles and turn right at the second light onto Lewisburg Pike (US 431). Drive 0.9 miles and turn left onto Eastern Flank Circle (second road on your left). You will see a sign for “Eastern Flank Battlefield Park.” Continue straight on Eastern Flank Circle. You will see the Fleming Center straight ahead.

Directions to Carnton from Carter House:

Turn right out of the Carter House parking lot. Turn right at the light onto Columbia Avenue. Turn left at the first light onto Cleburne Street. Continue straight at the first stop sign and turn right at the second stop sign onto Lewisburg Avenue. You will cross railroad tracks and pass Heath Place subdivision. Eastern Flank Circle will be the second turn on your right after the subdivision (note: Eastern Flank Circle is a one-way road; you will pass the exit before you reach the entrance).
