Media with The Battle of Franklin Trust

The mission of The Battle of Franklin Trust is to preserve, understand, and interpret the story of a people forever impacted by the American Civil War. We utilize various forms of media to accomplish this in a way that is vivid and readily accessible to guests any time, from anywhere in the world.

BOFT Films produces long and short form content that is available 24/7 on our YouTube channel. From Chalkboard History conversations, to battlefield videos, to our 2020 documentary The Battle of Franklin and the American Experiment, you can hear from our interpreters and their guests about a wide range of topics related to the Battles of Spring Hill and Franklin, to the Civil War, and to the broader scope of American History in general.

The podcast gives similar content, but in an auditory format for those who find that more convenient.

The Dispatch magazine is produced in print form three times per year. It is mailed to our members and is available to guests who visit the sites. All previous editions are also archived and easily accessible online. These offer a treasure trove of articles about a variety of topics: soldier stories, field medicine, the Tennessee Campaign, stories about the enslaved communities at each of our three sites, a recurring Revolution to Reconstruction piece, various items from our permanent collection, news and events, and more...
