Spring Hill Endowment & Battle of Franklin Endowment
Two endowment funds were established to support our efforts in Spring Hill and Franklin. Their purpose is to protect and preserve over a dozen historic structures, support battlefield reclamation efforts, plan for the long-term future, and secure each site’s place in history. The Endowments were designed to be at the heart of philanthropic support for the interpretation of the Battle of Franklin story.
A total of 15% of every membership is allocated to the Endowment – 10% to the Franklin Endowment and 5% to the Spring Hill Endowment. Direct contributions to either Endowment can also be made. Estate and memorial gifts to BOFT will be directed toward the Endowment of choice or split as noted above to provide preservation support in perpetuity.
