• August 16: Enlisted in the U.S. Army.

1864

• November 30: Lorenzo fought at the Battle of Franklin.

1865

• June 26: Mustered out of the U.S. Army.

1870

• August 30: The U.S. Federal Census enumerated in Hart Township, Warrick County, IN shows Lorenzo, a farmer, and his wife Sarah living with their children. Their 5 year old son was named “Union.”

1892

• August 2: Lorenzo filed for an invalid soldiers’ military pension.

1893

• January 24: Lorenzo Wesley Holder died. 
• February 9: Lorenzo’s widow, Sally, filed for a widows’ military pension.
